Admission Requirements
Eligibility
Admission to old livings Care is subject to availability and assessment of the applicant's medical, physical, and emotional needs. We reserve the right to determine whether we can appropriately meet an individual's care requirements.
Application Process
The admission process includes:
- Submission of a completed application form
- Medical evaluation and health history review
- Facility tour and consultation
- Review and signing of residence agreement
- Payment of applicable fees and deposits
Fees and Payment Terms
Monthly Fees: Residents are required to pay monthly fees as outlined in their individual care agreement. Fees cover accommodation, meals, basic care services, and activities.
Additional Services: Specialized medical services, medications, therapy, and other services not included in the base fee will be charged separately.
Payment Schedule: Fees are due on the first day of each month. Late payments may incur additional charges as specified in the residence agreement.
Fee Adjustments: We reserve the right to adjust fees with 60 days' written notice to residents or their representatives.
Resident Rights and Responsibilities

All residents have the right to:

Responsibilities

- Pay fees in a timely manner
- Notify staff of any changes in condition or concerns
Termination of Services
Voluntary Departure: Residents or their representatives may terminate residence with 30 days' written notice. Fees are due through the notice period.
Involuntary Discharge: We may terminate services if:
- The resident's needs exceed our care capabilities
- Payment obligations are not met
- The resident's behavior poses danger to themselves or others
- There is a material breach of the residence agreement
In cases of involuntary discharge, we will provide reasonable notice and assist with transition planning where appropriate.
Limitation of Liability
While we strive to provide the highest quality care, old livings Care is not liable for injuries, illnesses, or losses that result from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, pre-existing conditions, or the natural progression of age-related conditions. We maintain appropriate insurance coverage as required by law.
Personal Property
Residents may bring personal belongings to their rooms. However, we recommend limiting valuable items. old livings Care is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage to personal property. We strongly encourage labeling all personal items and obtaining appropriate insurance for valuable possessions.
Medical Care and Emergency Treatment
We provide routine medical care and monitoring. In case of medical emergencies, we will contact emergency services and the resident's designated contacts. Residents or their representatives are responsible for costs associated with hospital care, specialist consultations, and emergency services not covered by insurance.
